- Christopher's wife, M.A. Polly Spears Riffe died ~ 1802. In 1806, he remarried Elizabeth Coffey, and they had two children ~ 1806 or 1807. So, assuming guardianship of Sarah/Sally's children, Sarah/Sally and William Carroll Erwin, b. 1813 and 1815, would just add children in his household that also had kids at home. He was also noted to be a person of wealth and kindness.
